How We Started

Everyone claims to have the “best” family recipe, but I truly believe this cheese straw recipe lives up to that reputation. It all started with my Nana, who hosted the famous annual Christmas Party on E. 4th Street in Tuscumbia, Alabama. Her homemade cheese straws were the highlight, with guests begging for more. Eventually, she started baking and selling tins of these delicious creations during the holiday season.

Seeing the stacked tins in the back room, I realized how much love went into making them and how much joy they brought to people. So, I started baking them as gifts for friends and family. Every year, people raved about how incredible they were, asking why I didn’t sell them. Some even returned their tins, hoping for a refill!

Now, my best friend of decades and I are sharing this joy together. We've been through life’s ups and downs, and when I decided to take this leap, there was no one else I wanted by my side. Our friendship, built on trust and laughter, has made this journey even sweeter. We share a passion for bringing people together, and these cheese straws, with their crumbly, crunchy texture and hint of heat, do just that. One taste, and you'll see why we believe they're truly "Dang delicious!"
